Assessing Tele-Health Outcomes in Multiyear Extensions of PD Trials
×
AT-HOME PD2 will follow participants from AT-HOME PD, SURE-PD3 and/or STEADY-PD III for up to 3 years. As in AT-HOME PD, we will use video visits, online surveys, and a smartphone application. We are also adding in some new features, including the use of wrist-worn activity trackers. We will provide you with everything needed for the study, including a Fitbit!
The purpose of this study is to determine whether the smartphone application and wrist-worn activity trackers can improve the prediction of important disease milestones, like falls and cognitive impairment. We also seek to learn more about physical activity and how it relates to these milestones in Parkinson’s disease.
Compensation is provided for each video visit. All study activities can be completed from the comfort of your own home!
Want more information? If you are interested in participating, would like more information about the study or have questions, please contact the AT-HOME PD2 study team at: (585) 360-7179 or help@athomepd.org
AT-HOME PD is a collaboration between the Massachusetts General Hospital, Northwestern University, Sage Bionetworks, the University of Rochester, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
